I think this Winter has been one of the coldest and has had more snow than there has been in many years. We got a foot of snow about a week and a half ago and the temps dropped into the teens and here we are again with us receiving about 7-8 inches of snow and the temp dropped to 15 degrees this morning. Brrrr!
And now they're talking more snow in a couple of days.

It really makes you wonder what Spring's gonna be like. Are we going to get a lot of rain? Is it going to stay Winter long past when it should have left? I'm certainly glad that I haven't had to get outside or to come into contact with anyone carrying the H1N1 virus! It won't be long before it will be time to start planting seed indoors to get a jump start on the growing season.

Has everyone been participating in the OWOH (One World One Heart) giveaway? Check out my last posting to read all about it. I can tell you this, I've been hopping all around the blogging world and checking out others blogs. The last time I looked there were over 1000 bloggers who have joined into this "Magic Carpet Ride"

What have you  been working on crochet wise? I finished and mailed off two scarves for the WomenHeart project. February is Women's Heart month. I've also been working on the "Inga Bag". I finished the crochet part and now I'm down to lining it and finishing it off. I've also gotten a few squares finished and mailed off to women that I'm in a granny square swap with. Hmm what next? I don't know right now but I have a few thoughts on it.

I hope everyone can stay warm and safe and hopefully I'll be back soon!

You better not leave us, what would we do without our Barb? You are so right about the Spring, what are we going to have come our way? Who knows but at least we'll go through it together!

Sounds like you've been keeping yourself very busy. It's also been really cold here in OKC, but I have to admit that I love it. Our summers here are just so hot and muggy, I'll take the cold and snow anytime. I know, my family calls me a freak! :) Stay warm and safe.

Hi Barbara, I think you are getting our snow...this is the first year that we've gotten so little and I have to admit I miss it.
Gosh you keep yourself busy...that Inga bag sounds wonderful, I've had that on my queue for so long I really need to kick it off the list.
I signed up for a couple of OWOH giveaways and I'd love to do a giveaway next year...I never knew about it before.
I'm halfway through my 'make a thing a day'..I'll be really glad when I finish it....take care..suki

HI Barbara,
Thanks for entering my OWOH drawing! I didn't know there was a town called Flippin Arkansas!
My husband was raised there but we live in California now!
