What a wonderful week!

This lovely award has been given to me by Indigo Blue!

Many thanks to you Indigo Blue, what a lovely surprise.

I now need to pass this on to 10 other beautiful bloggers. Not easy this and I will try to spread these out a bit each time I am lucky enough to get an award. So here goes:

Molly @ Crocheting My Best with My Worsted
Lucy@ Attic24
Suz@ Suz's Crochet Groove
Bev@ One Yarn After Another
Nancy & Gdog@ The Strawberry Mallard
Kate@ The Garden Bell
Deneen@ Yarns and Musings
Paulette@ Beedeebabee
Jeanne@ Creative Bliss
Beansieleigh@ Beansie Babbles
Many thanks to everyone that visits here as well. If I get another award I'll spread it around also. When I get finished with this post I have to go send out a few emails. LOL

Well I finished the scarf I was making for the CAL that's going on over on Crochet Soiree. If anyone is interested, there's still time to crochet that scarf pattern and get it entered before the end of the month. Crochet Soiree and Tamara Gonzales are giving away some really neat prizes to those who enter a scarf that they've completed.
I also finished this baby blanket this month. The body of the blanket was done entirely in backpost sc. It's a Sirdar yarn that's Cotton/Acrylic blend. I really like it but there certainly were a lot of color changes back and forth!
And then to show you one of my prized irises:
Isn't it just a beauty? And here's a picture of the red Azaleas in front of the house:

Aren't they just beautiful also? We have white and pink Azaleas too.
I hope you enjoyed the blog today and will come back to share with me. I'll be bringing back pictures from the Gourd Festival to share with you in a few days. We'll be leaving in the morning and won't be back until Monday. I'm so thankful that my oldest son will be here to take care of everything. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi, and Thank you so much for thinking of me for this award, Barbara! Love your scarf! It's funny, that having nothing to work on last night, I DID intend to start this scarf today sometime!.. But I got sidetracked with the ugly task of rearranging my bedroom instead! Maybe I can start mine tonight after dinner sometime. Love your baby blanket too!.. Have a good night, and thanks again! ~tina

I thank you so very much for this award. I fully understand why you received it. My blog is sort of like my house, and organized mess! But thanks for thinking of me, you have just made my day.

Your flowers are gorgeous. I've not attempted to grow those types, but sure admire their beauty. Thanks for sharing.

I look forward to seeing more projects and more beautiful flowers!

You are the sweetest. Thanks for much for the award. If that doesn't make my Friday, I don't know what will.

Be sure to stop by and see today's posting. Having a little giveaway for my 150th posting.

Off to check out some of the other winners.

Thanks and Hugs,

Aren't the azaleas spectacular this time of year? Over in easter Okla., in a nice little town called Muskogee, they have an Annual Azalea Festival. I haven't been in a few years, but it used to be one of my very favorite places to visit. Your projects are so nice . . . great job!

Hi Barb.. Just want to let you know I figured out my way around Crochet Soiree!! At least enough to submit my completed scarf to the CAL! Thank you anyways.. Looking forward to more fun projects like that! Maybe I'll post about my scarf for Blue Monday... not sure, but I'm thinking about it! For now, maybe I'll make another one or two for Christmas gifts! ~tina
