A New Necklace with Sakura Crystal Lacquer and Terri Sproul Mixers

To say that I’ve had a rather stressful week would be an understatement. One week ago I had surgery on my back and of course the healing process is a painful one. I will say that I’m doing well and my teammates and especially our team leader, Terri Sproul have made the process much easier on me. Before I went in for my surgery I got ahead on my projects just a little. This project is for a wonderful pendant. To start with I used:2003-03-06 14.17.01 A pendant made out of resin, Terri Sproul Tanzanite Shimmer and 3D Crystal Lacquer. To start with I mixed the Tanzinite Shimmer and 3D Crystal Lacquer and painted the resin pendant. Isn’t this color just amazingly beautiful? 2003-03-06 16.16.30  I then took wire and beads of different types and sorts and used the Crystal Lacquer to adhere it to the pendant. I used a simple cord for the necklace part and I absolutely love the way that it turned out!.2003-03-06 18.26.53      2003-03-06 18.27.37

What do you think of my necklace? I would love to hear your comments.

Take care of you, my friend!
I so love the resin and lacquer work... I have not tried it yet as I am afraid of the fumes.
Do you also do the gourds? I love working with the gourds.
